It’s our last week of school before break! That means it’s time for winter spirit week for staff and students here at school. We can’t wait to see everyone’s outfits this week!+
Our third grade students recently had fun exploring pitch! They filled and emptied glasses of water to match the pitches of boomwhackers. They made connections to vibration, sound waves and ratios.
Fourth and fifth grade students have been practicing their note reading by color coding a treble clef recorder song and turning it into a friendship bracelet. What a fun way to put our skills into practice!
It’s a new month, and that means we have a new winner of the Golden Cougar to announce! Congratulations to our first graders in Ms. Gonzalez’s class!

Fifth grade students had a wonderful field trip to our district’s Innovation Center this week. It was a field trip that was filled with designing, creating, and hands-on learning!
We are so fortunate to have wonderful volunteers work with our students during the school day! Check out our fourth graders hard at work with some of these fabulous volunteers.
Our robotics team learned so much at our first tournament this weekend. Thanks to Indian Peaks Elementary for hosting a great event!
