Our counselor, Ms. Owens, shared a book about different careers with our 1st graders. Then they wrote in their Someday Journals about what they might want to be when they grow up!

Serving, setting, & strategy are all part of learning to play volleyball as a team. Good sportsmanship & teamwork are great skills for our students to practice!

Our students DEVOURED ribs at lunch! Sometimes, all you need is a good meal & some friends! Thanks to our Cafeteria staff for filling our students’ bellies so they are ready to learn!

Engineering hoop fliers & making modifications helped us find the best design & the best launcher! Exploring lift, gravity, & drafts to improve our fliers helped us really go the distance!

Learning to use Apple Freeform to make circle maps & sharing our learning with others is a strong reinforcement for our 1st grade friends, especially with a little help from older siblings!
