Welcome to all of the students and families in our school community! It is my fourth year as principal, and you will find that Columbine is an amazing community of leaders and learners. Columbine has been increasing its achievement data every year, and we are excited to partner with parents to provide high quality instruction to our students that will continue to move our students toward realizing their potential.

During the 2017-2018 school year, our staff and students focused on increasing student language arts and math achievement as well as provided students with targeted small group instruction. In addition, teachers and students worked together on having a growth mindset, and continued to work even when the work seemed difficult.

Prior to joining the Columbine staff, I taught middle school science in Adams Twelve Five Star school district for ten years. After leaving the classroom, I spent four years as an assistant principal in Adams Twelve at both the Middle and Elementary levels. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids. We love to ski, hike, camp, swim and spend as much time outside as possible.
