We had a great STEM Night last week! 55 families joined us to learn more about engineering, science, and technology by participating in lots of fun activities. They explored the strength and balance needed to engineer structures by working together at stations focused on arches, stability, and building a cantilever to hang over an edge. They learned about the motion of roller coasters, the aerodynamics of automobile design, the impact engineers have on the products we use everyday, as well as the importance of communication. In addition to the fun activities, students also had a chance to drive VEX IQ robots made by this year’s team, and play a few games like Simon Says with a NAO Robot.
A BIG thank you goes to the Innovation Center, Skyline High School, and our teachers for all of their help in making this night a success for our families!
