Our 3rd grade book club group taking turns reading out loud. Look at their organized folders and dictionaries. Giggles confirm that they are immersed in the joy of reading.
So many fun learning opportunities with technology happen at our school! Our 2nd graders used iPads to drive Spheros for a quick game of bowling!
In extended music class, 5th grade students began the planning process to make musical marble runs. Each group will use what they know about the elements of music to represent a section of the Allegro movement from Vivaldi’s composition Spring.
Students used iPads to draw and code a Sphero path. We had an accuracy race to drive our sphero to our partner!
Our second graders and fourth graders get to buddy up throughout the year. They recently read stories to one another that they each wrote, as well as fun books from the classroom. It’s a great opportunity for students to learn from each other!
Cafecito Success! Thank you to our families for the wonderful attendance and continued collaboration at last Friday’s February Cafecito! Together, we continue to grow stronger.
Recently our robotics team worked together to score points, rebuild robots, and have a great tournament! One of our teams won the Judges’ Award, which made it even more special!
It’s a new month, and that means we have a new winner of the Golden Cougar to announce! Congratulations to second graders in Ms. Morison’s classroom for winning the Golden Cougar for their excellent attendance last month!
