I'm thrilled to work with you and your kiddos for another year at Columbine. This is my 17th year in education: my second as the principal of Columbine. Throughout my career, I've had the pleasure of being a classroom teacher (10yrs), an instructional coach at the district level, an assistant principal, and a principal (4 years).

On a personal level, I have three children of my own that keep my husband and me very busy! Kiera just started middle school, Kyren is in 4th grade, and Soren is in 1st grade. My husband, Niels, is a process engineer who works in Golden. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, going to my childrens' sporting events, playing games, and reading.

As we embark on this new academic year, I want to extend a warm welcome to all the parents and guardians who entrust us with their children's education. It is my utmost privilege to be a part of this wonderful community of students, teachers, and parents.
