Mr. Thurman lives in Johnstown, Colorado, with his wife, BillieJean, and his 13-year-old stepson, Henry. He has two dogs, three cats, two guinea pigs, one axolotl, and ten chickens! He enjoys reading, researching, gaming, history, and navigation. He especially loves anything outdoors, with cycling, hiking, snowshoeing, and camping among his favorites. Virtual bike racing has recently become a favorite of his, and he now has friends all over the world! He is passionate about not just being healthy, but optimizing health and teaching this to others, including his students. Thriving—not simply surviving day to day—is something he lives by and shares with others. He believes there is nothing better than a good adventure!
