I am Mrs. Garcia and I'm so excited to be joining the team at Columbine Elementary as a first-year special education and intervention teacher. I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary and special education from the University of Wyoming, and for the last few years, I gained valuable experience working as a paraprofessional, student teaching and subbing in an elementary school. I'm passionate about creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students. Outside of school, my world revolves around my family: my husband, our two children, and our two dogs. We love to go hiking and camping together, and I always make time for a good book and a warm cup of coffee. I can't wait to get to know all of you this school year!
