Bio

I have been in St. Vrain as a student starting in PK-2 then moved to BVSD and came back to St. Vrain my freshman year at Skyline High school, where I graduated from. I am part of the P-TEACH program while I earn my degree in Early Childhood education. I have been in this program since my Sophomore year of high school and have worked at 3 different St. Vrain schools. I attended the same school I currently work in. I know the community very well, which helps me relate to the students and I have a personal connection to the community. I also have experienced some of the same challenges that my students face, which helps me better understand them. I have faced many challenges as a student. There have been many people in my life who told me, “I will not make it far. I will not be able to do the things I am doing right now.” I have persevered and proven them wrong. I want to be the supportive person for my students that I did not have growing up. I want to be their why. I have a desire to see them succeed.
