I have been teaching for 20 years. I began teaching History and Anthropology at a local community college and University. I worked as a special education teacher for twelve years, and then I returned to school to become a teacher for linguistically and culturally diverse students. This is my third year teaching at Columbine. I split my time between working with multilingual learners and supporting teachers as an MTSS liaison.

Columbine is a fantastic school with dedicated teachers who I am proud to call my colleagues. I look forward to attending school daily to learn with students and explore new ideas. My colleagues and the students have inspired me to return to school to pursue a doctorate in Education.
